We've had our first big snow storm of 2011. Early Monday morning it snowed about 5 inches! It was beautiful! After the snow, on Tuesday the snow turned into ice. Thankfully, we never lost power! We've been out of school for 4 days! It's been so nice relaxing and doing nothing!
The first few days Brent and I stayed in the house, watched tv, and read. I also did lots of baking. We ventured outside a few times and played in the snow. By Wednesday, we tried sledding but it was too hard in the ice. The roads were too slippery to go anywhere. It was great being stuck inside with Brent!
Friday and Monday were already scheduled off of school, so we're enjoying a long weekend!!
